On the 13th of May 2016, the Chinese Culture Club embarked on an exciting trip to the Eastern Cambridge Kindergarten School. Members of the College of International Students, Mr. Wu and Ms. Lin were present along with 10 representatives of the club.
The trip begun at approximately 2.30pm and since the kindergarten is located within NJUPT’s surrounding, the members decided to make it on foot.
On arrival, we were welcomed by some of the teaching staff and divided into groups of 3 and directed to different classes. Spring is full of youthful spirit, more vigour than the spring children smile; though is precious, but not precious than a spring is the innocence of children. International students through their layout program, with interesting game, the graceful dance with the children to learn English, feel their world. Distinctive program to get the kids to smiling, happy, less than half day students and children has been established between pure friendship.
At the end of the day, it was all excitement on the face of the children, teachers and we from the Chinese culture. Finally, some parents came around and were quite impressed to see their children being tutored by foreign nationals.
The experience was one to be remembered.
PS. It has been suggested that the trip should be organized again, due to the level of success of the first one.
