This assessment details apply to full-time students studying in Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. If there are special provisions in the rules and regulations of government scholarship, such provisions shall apply.
I. Qualification Review
International students, if find involving with any of the following behaviors, will be disqualified from winning a scholarship after check:
l Punished for violation of national laws or school rules and regulations
l Arrears of tuition fees, accommodation fees, etc.
l Failing to graduate on time and extension of graduation granted
II. Criteria

For NJUPT university Freshman Scholarship:
l All qualified Freshman could get it.
For NJUPT university first-class Scholarship:
l bachelor GPA > 3.5 OR Master/PhD AVG Scores > 85
l attendance rate > 90%
For NJUPT university Second-class Scholarship:
l bachelor GPA > 3.2 OR Master/PhD AVG Scores > 82
l attendance rate > 80%
For NJUPT university Third-class Scholarship:
l bachelor GPA > 2.8 OR Master/PhD AVG Scores > 78
l attendance rate > 80%
2. Student Evaluation Score
A1 = 50% * Academic Evaluation Points
A2 = Attitude Evaluation Points
A3 = 20% * Ability Evaluation Points
P = Penalty Points
Evaluation Result = A1 + A2 + A3 – P
Students who share the same scores:
n They will be ranked according to academic evaluation;
If academic evaluation is the same, then attitude evaluation as the norm; then ability evaluation.
If the three categories of evaluation are all the same, then the ranking is the same.

Postscript: Scholarship Assessment Details
1. Each time the duration of the scholarship assessment starts in August 1st to July 31st of the academic year. For example, the September 2016 assessment of scholarship is valid from August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016.
2. Usually the performance of sub-evaluation team of counselors and student leaders are recorded as a basis for assessing the scholarship. Grades or points will be issued by the teachers in charge of the Office of Academic Affairs and overseas school. Also, extra points will be awarded by the scholarship evaluation team after the assessment.
3. This regulation is trial use from 2016-2017 year.
4. The Overseas Education College of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications is responsible for the interpretation of this assessment details.
